My first disappointment with this cigar was the banding. The Regius band is in itself very attractive but there is nothing to indicate that this is a 2013 LE which is a little sad. This is a very nice looking stick coming in at 4.75" with a ring gauge of 52 and the wrapper has the most delicious chocolate scent which promises good things. The feel of the cigar is firm but slightly springy, so well packed it would appear. The cold draw was free with a leathery taste to start then a hit of chilli to my surprise. Chocolate and chilli? Looking good. Sadly it was not to be so. Once lit I got a big hit of pepper then it settled down to a not unpleasant smooth leathery flavour. I did notice that this cigar was not happy to be left alone, every time I picked it up it needed a good draw to keep it going and sure enough after 20 minutes it went out. I relit it and it lasted another four minutes so I relit it again and watched it gently smoking at the head I couldn't draw anything through. I'm guessing it was plugged and gently massaged it but to no avail. This cigar wasn't worth persisting with so I abandoned it and got something I knew I'd enjoy.
