Rocky Patel The Edge Lite corona

I take the band off, I like the look of cigars without bands! The only exception if if I'm struggling to get it off and run the risk of damaging the cigar.

I also agree with the notion that you should smoke a cigar as long as you are still enjoying, it really doesn't need to be more complicated than that!

WRT the etiquette aspect, as my friends says, etiquette only matters if you're with people who know and care about it! 😊

On the band front i take them off before the heat of the cigar makes it hard to get off i like to collect my bands also. On the cigar front not had this RP before but do like them think the burn on everyone has been good. Last one i smoked was the 15th anniversary in toro and wild medium but didn't leave you feeling bad after it

Another great review peejay by the way

Have you tried waiting until the cigar heats up before taking the band off? I find it easier to get the band off when the glue has heated a bit and I'm sure I read somewhere you shouldn't try taking the band off without smoking the cigar for at least five minutes other you run the risk of damaging the cigar

It was also suggested to me recently that keeping the band on to the last minute will help prevent the wrapper coming off on a badly wrapped stick.

See now i read the opposite mate that keeping it on the cigar slightly swells with heat causing it hard to get off later on. Hmmm will have to investigate hopefully with a couple of smokes later

            Weather permitting

Just having a La Invicta Gordas/Epicure that I've had for a while.
A nice bundle cigar, creamy mild taste.

Perfect with a drop of Bacardi Oakheart & Sonny Stitt and Dizzy Gillespie keeping me company.
