Cuban, Length 129mm Gauge 42 UK cost ?8.99
My first Bolivar.
Out of the humidor at 68%rh 22`c, enjoyed with a can of Heineken.
Appearance\construction; Looks slightly untidy in places but acceptable, Stick has a slight spring across its length, pleasing mild tobacco and wood odours.

Pre draw had a slight resistance, immediate flavours on the lips.
1\3;From the start I am getting copious amounts of smoke from a slightly firm draw. Complex flavours of Cinnamon and black coffee. Full flavoured and strong; wow.
2\3; This is without doubt the most complex smoke I have had, now getting almost a sweetness coming through and the coffee has subsided to a dark chocolate flavour. The burn is slow and even with the consistantly falling at 1 inch.
ash.jpg
3\3; Flavours have changed slightly, now a bit more muted with less individual tastes, perhaps more wood than spice, an extemporary burn just needed a slight correction right at the end. Draw firmed up a touch, but never difficult.
Conclusion; After an hour I left the last 1\2 inch. I expected a lot from Bolivar, and it delivered, possibly the best smoke I have had so far. Have read of some variation in quality, but I was very happy with mine, just struggling to not light one of the others. Definitely a "thumbs up"
