    My first Churchill;
    Cuban, Gauge 47, Length 178mm, UK cost ?17.99
    Out of humidor 70% Rh 22 `C, After Lunch, drinking water. 31`C
    Appearance\construction; Very impressive handsome cigar, well packed, lovely tobacco\woody odour.
    first.jpg
    Pre draw was easy, leaving lots of flavour on the lips.

    1\3; A smooth draw yielding plenty of cool flavoured rich smoke, ash fell at 1 inch which was repeated throughout the smoke. Predominant flavours of wood\leather with some creaminess.
    second.jpg
    2\3; Burn is very good, slow and true. Flavours becoming more complex with increasing creamy notes. Odour is. light and atractive.

    3\3; Draw slightly firmer, and had to relight with 2 inches to go. flavour and strength as before but growing in complexity. Smoke still very cool, taken to just over an inch after 1 3\4 Hours.

    Conclusion; Very enjoyable smoke, rich and complex, I was expecting a lot from this cigar and it delivered easily. It is expensive but a great experience, have 2 more which I will forget about for a while.

    nice reveiw, if you get a good one these are imo the best churchills out there. its also worth trying the wide churchill if you get the chance, a totally different smoke but also very good...

    I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

        A very good review David. I have a few of these and enjoy one periodically. Sometimes hit and miss for quality but on balance one of the best Churchills.
