The very kind Yeti gifted me one of these and in return I have reviewed this stick.
This stogie was accompanied by my fave drink, Dr Pepper and lasted me a good 1hr 30mins.
Construction: foot was a wee bit squashed but that was my fault for my makeshift transport method! A bit soft to the pinch but didn't hold me back. It did have a slight split halfway down smoking, but got passed it with no problems.
Draw: very very good! Hardly any resistance at all.
Burn: No touch ups required as it auto corrected all the way through.
Flavour: First third started of very mild, promenant flavours of a spiced milk chocolate but smooth creamy notes crept in from time to time.
Second third got a little more interesting. It became more fuller bodied, wet earth and rich dark chocolate with hints of spice still there. Wow! A great smoke, so far so good!
The second third had concentrated spurts of toasted tobacco with a pepper taste, similar to my fave the Oliva V Belicoso. It managed to keep a consistant creamy smoothness all the way through.
These flavours transitioned into the final third where the chocolate slowly dissapeared and the pepper got more intense. Spice kicked in too! Aftertaste was interesting, couldn't put my finger on it but reminded me of cookie dough ice cream for some reason!
To summarize, this is a great, steady stogie with bags of enjoyment! This was a lot different to the belicoso in a good way! Definitely box worthy.
