Well it's been a long time coming but I'm finally reviewing the new Bolivar Britanicas uk regional. Thought I'd wait for the hype to die off before plumping up with my review.
Comes in a gorgeous box, not seen the like of this before.
Gorgeous firm construction as you'd expect from a Habanos these days, with lovely tapered ends. Dark wrapper, smelling of chocolate.
Lit and draw is perfect, just enough air so you don't have to strain, but not too loose - I don't like a loose draw.
First few drags have flavour, nicely strong for the start, definitely a Bolivar.
Very strong set off but not any unique flavour coming through. l flavour develops after start, hard to pin point the flavour types, but nice. Strong.
Vaniella, dark dark espresso, raw earthiness about it. Half way through now and very similar flavours but developing very nicely.
Luxurious amount of smoke, ya need a good meal before this too.
Bloody hard to review when England are playing...
Very peppery in under last two inches, and very nice and smooth.
It's definitely a Bolivar but I'm not sure it's 100% similar to the normal Bolivar taste. Very interesting though.
Definitely worth a grab if you like Bolivar, but it's not for the newbie - damn strong
