  • Bol?var Petit Libertador - 2008 French ER Cigar Review

    Hi all,

I posted yesterday a video review of the Bolivar Petit Libertador, the 2008 Regional Edition for France.

    Enjoy!

    Kind Regards,

    Great stuff, Steve!

I think it was your video that made me realise I'd never had a regional release cigar!

      Good work.

I bought some of these when I was in Paris and I really liked them. Still got one lonely one sat in the bottom of the humidor. I really like the size too although I rarely tend to buy this sort of size. The french also had a Punch the same size (either that year or the next I think) of which I still have a lonely soul nestling next to the Boli, that's another good cigar.

Not Bolivar-esque? We haven't smoked the same cigar… The Petit Libertadores I have had were unmistakably representative of the Bolivar breed… with that unique earthy flavor that you hardly find in RyJ's cigars…

Hmmm I didn't find it earthy at all. I read another review of the Boli Petit Lib and he described the Bolivar-esque flavours as what you indicated. Maybe we did smoke a different Cigar...
