I had one of these last night with a Balvenie portwood. It came from a box marked ABR 11.

    EDRM5.JPG

A beautiful milk choclate wrapper, excellent construction and a smell of sweet tobacco.

    1st third,

I used a palio and lit the cigar using a cedar match. I am pleased to report there was no bitterness on lighting. The draw was good but it could of done with just a tiny bit of extra resistance. However that's just me nit picking.
The cigar lit easily and burnt at a slow rate. The smoke was a good thick white smoke, not very thick but enough to be a smoke of substance if you get my drift.
The taste was of double cream in my opinion. I couldn't taste much more but maybe there was a little bit of ginger in the background.

    2nd third,

The burn became uneven but nothing to get hot under the collar about. The cigar remained constant with everything else though. A medium strength cigar with a light to mild flavour, the foreground flavour of cream being mild with the background of ginger being light to undetectable.

    last third,

No change, the burn was corected when it brok off the ash. I was getting quite a nicotine hit from this cigar also.

    Conclusion,

A great smoke, this is my sort of robusto a nice easy going cigar that I can enjoy at any time of day. I think the smoke time was about 90 minutes maybe a couple of hours. I only smoke twice a week so tend to take alot longer than more regular smokers. I will be purchasing more of these in the future.

Nice review, ERDM CS are a splendid smoke but having decided you enjoy them, try an aged one. If you like this even more I would stick a few/a box away, 3-5yrs fine on a box but 5-7yrs+ even better when buying a cab. Just to show you what a wheel of stix looks, here's some pic's from my collection.

I have to get a cab of these before the Mayan apocalypse hits us at the end of the year. I heard that Cuban tobacco smoke is the only thing that will pacify the zombie jaguar warriors that will come to eat human flesh ... at least that's my story when the bank manager calls me in!

I had one of these, a 2002, as the first cigar I ever smoked in JJ Fox's... I remember it being rather mild but really rather pleasant...

Aye, the ERDM brand prove you don't need strength to have excellent flav's.

I've got a single now. Feels like quality construction. Smells great, can't wait to fire it up.
