BOLIVAR PETIT CORONA
Size - 129 x 42

Appearance: Nice chocolate brown colour wrapper, partially smooth looking, slight light veins but not many. A nicely rolled cigar with a nice firm finish.

Construction: Solid and very firm, no soft spots and no tight spots. Perfect even burn from start to finish no correction needed at all, not tight or too loose, a nice smooth draw every time. This is how all cigars should be rolled, excellent construction indeed.
Flavour: Pre-draw it gave me some nice spicy flavours with slight tones of hay and a nice little tang in my mouth, it left wondering how it was going to taste once lit. Right from the off through the first third, there was lots of smoke, very smooth and creamy with a nice strong spicy nutmeg flavour with slight hints of nuts, and i could sense a little coffee creeping through too. After each draw it was leaving an after taste of walnuts in my mouth which was very pleasant indeed. The second third it was still holding plenty of strong spice and nuts, with large amounts of dark chocolate and creamy coffee coming through. The final third lots more spice and strong toasted coffee beans with great amounts of cream which was making the smoke very smooth indeed, it was leaving a wonderful sweet dark chocolate and aniseed taste in my mouth which was pleasing and not too overwhelming. All in all this cigar had a wide variety of strong flavours, which really was a compliment to a great tasting smoke.

Overall: This cigar was excellent and delivered a variety of strong flavours, it had a perfect draw every time with lots and lots of creamy smoke and held a perfect solid greyish, almost fully white ash. For me this is a full bodied cigar with plenty of character, however it was never to powerful for me at all. I smoked this cigar right down to the nub and i will be purchasing a lot more for my humidor.
Hope this gave you a good idea of what Bolivar can produce and i hope you enjoy yours as much as i did....Thank you SmokinE.
