A bit windy on the balcony today, but mild enough to pull out something special. I brought these back from Holland last year.
Started off a little tanic, suggesting they still need a little more aging, but that was gone by the second third. Excellent construction and a good draw, it went a little wonky on the burn at the end, but I didnt touch up at all.
By the last third you could really see the Bolivar flavours coming through, biscuity with a real richness to it.
Took around an hour and burnt my fingers a little - if it wasnt for the bloody wind it probably would have been a few points more, but I give it a 90/91.
Still have 2 more of these stowed away and will probably wait for 2013 to try again.
Cost 11 Euros - Considering you can get some standard production a fair bit cheaper than this (if you shop around) I dont think I would stretch to a box, but love trying new things!
