Well, well, a superb smoke we have here! Bought three from CA from a JUN00 box, so there is plenty of age.
The smell of the SP is that aged must you get, reminded me of being in my great grandmas house for some reason! Pre draw was a smooth coffee taste.
Right, first third - a musty, smooth coffee texture all the way through. No faults! Leading into the second third it did start to boat a tad so a correction was made. 2/3 - the must disappeared and on came a creamy, smooth texture with hints of a sweet fruitiness. Notes of toast and strong tobacco on the odd draw, very more-ish taste! The final third had the return of the mild cream mustyness, with notes of sweetness.
Overall a very, more-ish smoke which lasted me 50 mins. Top marks!
