I think I've found myself a new favourite! I decided to try some smaller vitola cigars recently as I'd been out walking the dogs with some Montecristo Number 4s that I've had hanging around my humidor for a while whose size and strength hit the spot just right for a walk in the fresh air. I had picked up a Ramon Alones small club to take out walking with me but didn't get along with it. It was nice enough and burned well but it was quite spicy and a bit of a mouth full.
Bring on the Del Mundo Petit Corona. A very varied smoke! It started off very mild and easy to smoke and gave plenty of flavour and nuance. As the cigar progressed, the spice increased gradually but it wasn't that it was getting hot and it never became too much. My particular cigar smoked very well, burning slightly unevenly in the middle but corrected its self very well shortly after.
Will most definitely be buying one or more of these guys again!
I have 3 more small vitola cigars left in my humidor to try out, those being:
Bolivar Petit Corona
Saint Louis Rey Petit Corona
H. Uppman Magestic
I've also added a La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos 2008 UK Regional to my selection as a special occasion smoke
