  • Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes '03 Review

    Hello there peeps,

Since I got into smoking cigars, of all the Cuban makes, for me Sancho Panza has always been one of my favorites, with mellow complex flavours and near perfect construction they never fail to please.

So during the latest Sitck a sick in thingie, in amongst my gift, Monkey Nuts had sent me a Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes '03, whoop whoop I thought, so lets review this fellow:

(Oh yes I also got the new Dino Lego box, let's see how this goes.

Drink of choice was home made spiced Rum which rocked.......aged 2 weeks

Build, as always is near perfect with a mid brown matt wrapper, a few small veins and one little tiny liver spot, a firm feel and great look.

Cuting was a dream and revealed an nice draw, a little on the loose side, notes of leather, grass and hay (cut with a punch).

It lit up like a dream, smooth ike every other Sancho i've had, not a huge amount of smoke but very satisfying never the less, the taste was similar to the pre light, grassy, leathery with hints of hay, and an earthy feel. It burned like a dream, the ash was very firm with a darker colour with pale highlights.

As it went into the second third the quantity of smoke increased quite a bit, nothing as good as huge gouts of smoke leaving your mouth, the flavours remained the same but was added to with a hint of woodiness coupled with some spice, The burn was straight and true.

The final third was a dream, all the previous flavours with more spiciness and a certain bitteness, but a very pleasant bitterness akin to very dark chocolate or even a peppery feel, the smoke continued to grow, I really didn't want to put this down, it was a truly lovely smoke.

I'll place an order for a box tomorrow (if they're still in production).

Many thanks to Monkey Nuts forthis beauty, truly appreciated
Oh yes, you would never be able to lure a Raptor with a silly piece of plastic chicken.

    Stay safe outthere peeps.

Simpy hilarious Yeti! The review was very good but I just couldn't help but laugh all the way through, the way you put the updates of the lego build without even mentioning it just killed me

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Great review! I've hardly smoked any Sancho Panza, never actually heard anyone saying that it was one of their favourite brands.

Never had any either, but for some reason the name rocks 'Sancho Panza'! Dunno why

Superb review, I'm eager to try the Sancho that Monkeynuts gifted me in a stick a stick ages back, it's size is such that I need to set aside around 3 hours, warranting special attention
