  • Cuaba Generosos review

The Cuaba Genrosos is my first Cuaba, and I was pleasantly suprised!

The pre-draw - A sharp, floral taste. I felt apprehension kick in as I wasn't in the mood for a light smoke. Boy I was wrong!

As I have heard many times with figurados there is a struggle getting the draw to grow, but I had no troubles lighting up and drawing past the closed head (don't know the technical term!).

First 1/3rd - Started off as a very creamy floral taste. Was getting a bit more dissapointed with the one dimensional taste. However, just as I touched the second 1/3rd all these different flavours and textures came pouring out! At one moment, leather and spice, then it will jump to cream with a hint of sweet citrus! This was an incredible cigar! As I reached the final 1/3rd, the leather became the more constant texture, with the floral taste coming back. Hints of lavendar came and went too!

Overall, this cigar was a great smoke. Highly recommended if you like variety in your sticks! Immensly enjoyable with a Green King St Edmond ale. 10/10

Always loved a pint of that St Edmunds Ale with a cigar...

Not tried any Cuaba's yet but this little review has certainly made me think again...

I'm glad my review has helped! Thanks for the heads up Alex, I have had my eye out for the Solomones for a while now!

Greene King do amazing ales Will! However, two other breweries I recommend (close to where I live) are Adnams (especially the Gunhill, might work well with a Bolivar) and Woodfordes (Wherry paired well with a Monte Edmundo actually!)

            Nice review

I wish my cuaba experience was as good as this one as im sure you will hear/have heard for cuaba when they are good they are good and when they are bad that so BAD and i seem to get more bad then good

As for beer may i recommend you look into Robinsons Unicorn i find it goes well with cuaba and punch to name a few.
