Ah well... if you can't beat em to death... join em.

So.... for me the difference between CC's and N.C's is more like the difference between French wines and those of the New World.
As a rule-of-thumb, 'New World' wines (though sometimes a little one-dimensional) are incredibly consistent (reliable quality control), well made, priced and abundant.

CC's on the other hand...well, let's not look too closely at quality control or their (pitiful) marketing methodology (Mid Oct and this years LE's etc.. are still only trickling out!), or indeed their casual attitude towards range deletions!
However... when 'on song' they're just simply untouchable (so far IMHO).
But you do pay a premium for the privilege.... and quite some premium at that!

Likewise... the top French wines (much as it pains me to admit it) have little to fear from the rest of the World as yet. At least as far as the top-end stuff goes anyhow.

It's only a matter of time though.
