I've had a box sitting for just over a year, at first they were very bitter with an aftertaste of ammonia, slowly getting better but after sampling one a few weeks ago I decided to leave them another year.

hmmm, they are deffinatley an interesting cigar!

thinking more about it, its a very hard stick to rate really, because everything was perfect and I mean basically perfect except the taste/flavour, which is essentially the most important thing.

I have a box sitting in the Humi and I hope they are as good as the one you smoked for your review. I have never been a great fan of Bolivar TBH, but after smoking a box of Simones last year I can see the error of my ways.

Cigar quality wise it was absoulutley top notch, everything was great, the only let down for me was down to personal preference with regard to taste/flavour, as I prefer more subtle woods, chocolates, leathers rather than herbs and spices.
