  • Pictorial Cigar Haiku Contest

Right I probably had one too many whiskies tonight, but I've decided to start a contest. The rules are simple. You present a three picture haiku of a cigar you smoke. No words or comments allowed, just the three pictures.

The moderators, if they accept, and I, will be the judges (and cannot participate except for fun).
CHANGED : I will be the sole judge, so that the mods can participate too, if there are one or two people that one to volunteer as judge with me thats fine too

Contest open until the end of April.

The winner gets some cigars from my collection.

As an example, and to set a minimum baseline :

Gives me another reason to light up a tasty Cuban, especially now the weather is much better. I am just waiting for the hottest afternoon!

I have decided to change the rules on this a bit to hopefully get more contributions :
I will be the sole judge, that way the admins can participate.
            OP changed

I've got mine planned, just need to get off my arse and take them. Shame half my kit is in Preston, my cigars etc in Liverpool and I'm in Staffordshire.

Should be sorted by then end of the month though.

It's a shame for anything to have to be in Preston. My advice is forget about the kit and buy new stuff whatever the cost... just to avoid Preston.

lol...I think there is a limit on word counts in posts.

However The Moose Hotel and the shopping centre that the Guildhall Theatre is in are a start.

To be honest there's nothing wrong with Preston (one of my singers is from there and she swears by the furniture in the hospice charity shop) it's just nice to have a pop at someone's home town. I live in Kettering now... feel free to weigh in on that! lol

Kettering, it's........ well....... erm....... I don't really know anything about Kettering.

                          But then again who does?

                          (something like that? )
Lo there do I see my Father. Lo there do I see my Mother, and my Sisters and my Brothers. Lo there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. Lo they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, in the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.

Kettering is not too far from me... only reason I've ever been is to use a very decent sail repair shop!
