Charity Auction / Raffle... London Marathon
Hi,
My girlfriend is running the London Marathon next month for charity. Instead of just asking you guys to make donations I have come up with a cunning plan:
There is a tubed Partagas Serie D No.4 available to the winner.
To enter go to http://www.justgiving.com/Gemma-Hall2 and make a donation. Click the box to hide the amount of your donation during the check out process. In the comments box write something nice(if you want) but also put "UKCF: username" this way I can see all of the competition donation amounts but no one can see what everyone else has given (to make it fun with random pennies on the end of the pound figures). The person who has sponsored her the most will get the cigar at my expense. In the case of a draw I will choose tied sponsors at random.
Please also tick the gift aid box so the government can make a contribution.
The comp closes the day before the marathon (16th April).
Please give generously to this so that the charity gets more then it would if I had just given the value of the stick myself. Any questions please PM me. There is more about the condition that the charity supports that she is running/stumbling for here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_syndrome the charity's website is under construction so this is the best I can offer at the mo.
