  • Auction of Cohiba DC LE 2003

Today I am starting the auction a single Cohiba DC LE 23003; the money raised (minus ?5 SD P&P) will be given to Dean as a my donation for 2011.
This is a rather special stick, that I think many will be interested in. Although a few members will have some in their collection, you'll be had pushed to buy a single on the open market, where it would be comfortably over ?30. This will be a great opportunity for someone to try this fine vitola & support the site at the same time.
I recently reviewed this cigar in the Cigar Review forum so check it out. I have attached a photo of the cigar on offer.

This auction is open now until next Sunday 13th @ 21:00. Bids made after this time will not be accepted.
In the interests of transparency, please post all bids on this thread, no bids by PM.
    There is no Reserve.
Payment by online transfer ONLY, to be made before Wed 16th 1200 & the item will be posted form Aberdeen the following day (weather & helicopters permitting).
If there is a problem with payment from the winner, the second highest bid will be offered the cigar at the amount they bid for it.
This offer is open to all members who registered before today & I will post it anywhere in the world.
Whilst there is no rush to smoke this cigar (it will have done a lot of travelling before it reaches you so a good rest is advised), you may want to save it for a special occasion but whenever it finally gets enjoyed, I am sure all of us will be interested to read your review of it, which you could add to my review thread.

    Ok let bidding commence

Wow! That's some opening bid Watkins (thanks for the advice btw), I thought we might take awhile to get that far. OK who's next?

Don't see the point in starting any lower, the money is going to a good cause and it's just an other way of donating which I should of done anyway.

Glad to see you made a bid Sean but beaten by The Prince. Good bid Sir! I was hoping it would get there but thought it was going to take most of the week to do so.
              Any other bids tonight?

Sludgie, glad to see you entering the frame, actually I think this cigar is right up your street, as your a fan of the larger flavoursome vitolas.
Think you might be right Sean, plenty of time left to break the ?40 barrier

Yahoo! Excellent bid Bnelly, I was just waiting the ?40 but you burst right through that barrier. Couldn't be going to a better BOLT IMHO, unless off course we have some real out there???
