Here i was innocently minding my own business, chatting about geeky sci fi books with a fellow BOTL when all of a sudden the post man disturbs me from my slumber and all i can think is i haven't ordered anything that i have to sign for. Well as it turns out the package that nearly broke the post mans back was too big to fit through the letter box. After unpacking my grin on my face was bigger than the letter box.

I'm just finishing off Iain M Banks Player of Games at the moment and i think the book will be next on my reading list.

As for the cigars they are in case the photo doesn't come out too well.

    Diesel Unholy Cocktail
    5 Vegas Miami Toro
601 Series blue Box Press Maduro Robusto
    RASS
    Partagas 898

I've been meaning to try a RASS and Partagas 898 for a while now and thanks to Soulmanure i now have the means.

A big thumbs up to a great BOTL but watch out, return fire is inbound

          Really good of you soul!

I'm surprised you can part with the 8-9-8s though - surely it's like giving away a son?

Sheesh good taste in smokes and lit!

Read Ubik next or Man in the high castle, both brilliant.

Glad the bomb dropped on the right target there--just sending a bit of a hello from your cousins.

It was a bit difficult--I cried for a moment, but then I remembered how deprived you folks have been and wanted to do my lot for humanity.

Ouch, though that does seem to be the logical moniker. I just read Ubik--great one, though I haven't gotten to Man in the High Castle; it's certainly on my list. Loved Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (the inspiration for Blade Runner), and his short fiction as well.

Brilliant bomb, Soul. Mmmm 898. On my list!

All you guys into SF, have you tried this:

                        and there's two sequels.

Sorry if this is a thread hi-jack but people seem to be talking SF.

Not read it, but it looks great--love Blade Runner and I'm a big fan of William Gibson (the early work, anyway). I'll have to check it out.
