I'm going to have an outrageous stab in the dark - One of the Camacho Robustos? I've had one of their Connecticut robustos, but that seemed to light on the retrohale compared to this.... But had the same pleasant surprise with how much I enjoyed it.

Anyone else want to join the wild guesses? 😂

Interesting guess actually! Wrong. But interesting. All will be revealed soon

With no further ado. May's CotM was Aladino Cameroon Robusto. I have been curious to see what folk made of them.

I'm going to try the rest of the range too.

Special thanks to Rich B who was kind enough to mule these over for me especially for CotM on his last trip! Have you tried one yet Rich!?

The Eiroa family used to own Camacho for a while.

Good choice Some Great cigars in the Aladino range, the Vintage Selection Lancero is my favourite. All reasonably priced as well.

I haven’t tried mine yet, it was a pleasure to mule haul a box back.

Really nice cigar; thanks for introducing it (and the brand) to those of us who didn't know it.

Glad it was liked. Thought it was worth a try. These are almost twice the price in the UK. Albeit still well under the cost of many.

I should get in on CotM again myself, but then I wouldn't get through my stash
