COTM March 2021

Had my first yesterday, great construction. Whatever it is I’d say it was young, first two thirds were very pleasant, mainly earthy leather the last third became a bit bitter probably around where the band would have been.

My best guess would be Boli Royal Corona, only thing that makes me think maybe not is it was on the mild side of medium but apparently they’re the mildest Bolivar so that’s what I’m going for.

RyJ Ex 4? First third I was positive it was RyJ. Either that or short churchill but I've not had a young one of those.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.. Have to say ryj is my favorite Cuban so far, I'm still to sample a few. But I got the box and tried one and struggled to leave them alone. I'm going to buy another box..

Had one of mine last night, it was a cigar I recognised but just couldn't put my finger on what it was, it's not a cigar I have smoked much in the past but acquired a part box recently and have smoked a couple in the last year. They are Nice smokes and underrated.

I don’t smoke a lot of RyJ but occasionally they really surprise me with how good they can be. I had a No 1 once which was incredible

I'm always impressed with the (few) RyJs that I smoke. I feel they often get overlooked by many people.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve enjoyed every RyJ I’ve had so far, about half way through a box of petit Churchill’s and a quarter through a box of Wide Churchill’s. I’ve got a box of the short Churchill on my “to buy” list after having a great single from Cgars but may change it to these now.

Also split a box of Petit Royales at the end of last year with Pigpen, only had one so far but again that was very good.

I’d guess the COTM is a 2020 box.
