Well, such a treat was mine today (and t'were a fine treat too!).

Peanut M&M's . . . (and they're all mine! - Muwhahaha) and some strange lookin' 'brown' things that I've yet to figure out what to do with. But, have no fear, I'll work it out!

I'm looking forward to your critical review of the M&Ms

Just for you.

Well, now that I've had chance to 'rip open the bag' and 'stuff my face till I feel slightly nauseous' I thought I'd update you fine folks on this quality 'dining' experience.

Appearance 13/15:
Multi-colored shells (quite vibrant, if truth be told), single 'M' branding. No obvious veining, though a couple of minor 'chips' in the 'paint-work'.

Flavour 22/25:
(Very) sweet chocolate to begin with, not too strong, typically 'Mars' like. Hints of lemon and lime citrus flavours. Goes into vanilla half way through, then to back to chocolate. Real Peanut flavours too, typical of quality 'Monkey nuts'. Some Brazilian earthiness in there as well. Plenty of variance in taste and texture. Final third is awesome: sweet chocolate and peanut throughout.

Smoking (crunching) characteristics 24/25:
Lots of crunch - one for the 'Star Bar/Snickers' fans - long finish, good texture. The 'crunch' is perfect, with a decent amount of 'candy shell' coming through - maybe a little too sweet on the pallet though.

Overall impressions 31/35:
Definitely a great M&M, which is worth grabbing hold of, though I find myself wanting something more pea-nutty and less chocolaty. One for a beginner for sure, if they can take the size - albeit they're probably better off starting with 'Smarties'.
