Well I knew Chris and I hadn?t ordered anything and on bringing the box indoors quickly spotted the Eagle post sticker and the legendry handscrawled name and Tennessee address ? Shuckins had Struck!
But, not a Day of Infamy, more a Saturday of Generosity!
And, what a parcel. He hasn?t paid his Tea Tax yet, but he has sent over a pack of Gurkha Premium Estate Reserve in lieu. I think he?s sussed me as a bit of a race fan as he?s included a collectors car model as drive by an all-time hero of mine ? 4 times IndiCar Champion and 1978 F1 World Champion ? Mario Andretti. And, I think my Redcoat Grenadier might have stirred up a rebel yell ?down South? .... because three o? them Dixie boys have invaded Westcliff and look hellbent on whoopin? it up around the local taverns.
And there?s more. 15 top-notch cigars no less. I?m sorry about the rotten pics, but today is dark and raining here and flash is bouncing off all the glossy packs an? wrappers. But I have made a list. From left to right and in fives:-
