LOL, George you just get down what you're comfortable with. I'm sure there'll be some sci-fi measures of weight that only a real scientist can interpret (to their advantage of course) BTW, if you come up with something funky, please show your working to teacher ay!
Hmm... I thought 8 furlongs, 3 fathoms, and tuppence was a pretty damn fine guess, but if you find it inappropriate for whatever strange British reason you might have (must be one of those heathen superstitions) then I will just have to go with: 6 parsecs, 3 firkins, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Getting back to your light -weight guess, it seems too fluid somehow and non committal old bean. As for the mighty Alan Partridge in a tree, I can just see him in one, with a glint of of one of his pears dangling from the bow
