Holy mother of.....
Base camp suffered severe damage in recent exchanges. Taking two massive strikes to the operations room essentially rendered all resistance impossible.
The first impact struck the primary generators just less than one week ago. I arrived back from the herf to find a wonderful package of cigars - all kinds of goodies had made a massive crater. I received an email from G-man telling me that he'd got some RP 1992 2nds that he had said he would send me. I couldn't pin him down on postage. Then I 'ordered' some El Rey del Mundos (NC variety) from him (from the for sale section). He refused to accept any form of payment for either of these two sets of cigars, and added a couple of other nice looking sticks too! Top, top man. Even if it did cause a messy clean up operation...
Then, today, on an unexpected trip back to base camp (Gloucester) from the forward operating base (Plymouth), I arrive to a scene of devestation. The whole operations room, including primary and secondary generators, all radar and communications equipment are shot. This has been a big strike, on a massive scale. I radioed to the teams left at the FOB and order an immediate, tactical withdrawal. The damage sustained in the strike made further operations unsustainable. Celsis, you have been forewarned, retaliation will be swift! Thanks for the little selection of big cigars - they look extremely tasty!
