And just like that Santa appears. Very happy with these, the Mag 54 and Especial I?m yet to try but looking forward to in the summer. The Rass and Wide Churchill are 2 of my favourite smokes, always great to have more of what you enjoy.
Yeah nice gift there I definitely don?t think your sender needed to feel apologetic. All quality smokes

It?s a great selection, I had a similar feeling when I sent mine. After seeing some of the amazing ones posted with great aged sticks it makes you feel sorry for the poor guy stuck with the Noobs like me with nothing really aged RE or LE.
Nobody on this forum needs to apologise for any SS bombs, the genuine good spirit, generosity and great camaraderie across the site is simply amazing and I feel very privileged to be amongst such good friends

Apologies for the delay, I picked up my SS from McDee on Thurs night. A very interesting & generous selection: it's not easy for members to find a cigar I have tried before but somehow SS managed it.
RG North Star Dec '17, smoked one recently, a great vitola for smoking outside at this time of year.
VR DA Nov' 17, an old fav, which always reminds me of my visit to the Robin Finca 2011.
Papo CC Lanceros May '17, so I must confess I haven' t heard of this roller, can a one tell me where he works? I love this vitola & will certainly look fwd to smoking this on a nice sunny day.
AF Opus Perfection No5 Now I have tried some Opus before & have to agree they are the finest of NC's (as they should be at those prices) but I haven't tried this vitola before & will enjoy it on the mid Sunday in Lent, as it's my habit to smoke NC's then.
It just occurred to me that maybe the clue to my SS is our very own Opus fan PJ? But then again, as he loves them so much, would he be generous enough to gift me one?
Well however it was I am very grateful & will label them all SS 2019 so I can post when I smoke them.

Good try Simon but I didn't play although I also have some Papo CRs. The plot thickens.
I must have been a very good boy this year! Someone has been paying attention to my inane ramblings here because they are absolutely right - I am intrigued about Trinidad and very much look forward to trying this! Looks delicious. Hadn't heard of fonseca before so a brand new marca - good work. Looks like a nice vitola too - I've previously only gone for big old fatties but I am beginning to appreciate different sizes. The PLPC and rascc look like excellent winter smokes - I have none, so that's ideal. And the age on that rascc! Excited to see how my palette has developed and if I can properly appreciate it yet. And last but not least the lcdh superiores - I'm a sucker for a double band.
Haven't tried a single on of these - very excited to try them all! In fact I think the only brand I've tried is RA so loads of new stuff to get my teeth into (though I will smoke more in the spring).
And of course they have been down for a while - not sure I've had anything this old.
Thank you very much santa - perfect gift! What a great forum.
