I think reyes might be the only regular production cuban I've not smoked.

Fired one of these little beauties up this evening - it was not too cold, so smoked it out on the deck in the garden. I've been pairing cigars recently with imperial ales and stouts. But tonight for some strange reason, I decided to pair this with a summer fruits cordial - which really seemed to work with this cigar
Simple twist of the pigtail - the cold draw was perfect for me. Construction was great, the ash was strong, the flavour was I can only say Trini' Reyes. Now at first I thought it was either 3-6 months old a bit of an edge to the smoke, but that could be me using a triple torch to light it in the breeze - but after the first third, this has more age on it definitely. The final third I even got lovely hints of citrus/fruit in amongst the usual biscuits, coffee, cream and woody flavours- which I have never experienced with a Reyes? before - I'll go for early 2017/late 2016 as there was very little bitterness in the final third.......

An I reading this correctly...yiu didn't punch or cut this, just openedn up the pigtail to be able to draw on it?

Feel free to correct me the more knowledgeable on here but the pigtail was designed to not need a cutter. Just grab the pigtail and twist it/pull it off, you can still cut but there?s no need.
