Peppery on start up, quite strong smoke. Flavours do develop lots of spice, and retrohale very smooth- hints of hickory remind me of fire cured tobacco. Strength ramps up final third - including nicotine, but creaminess and citrus sourdough remain - My guess, possibly Bolivar No3 because of the flavours/strength
Smoked mine this evening, and i wouldn't have called it a particularly spicy/strong smoke as noted above, i found the retrohale to be smooth. Dominant flavour throughout were earth/leather, with a note i couldn't quiet name but now @Vitola has said it I would say cured tobacco (who would have guessed it...). There was a sweetness at points, but nothing that hung around for long. These flavours tend not to set my buds on fire, but i found it to be an interesting smoke nonetheless - though not a box one for me. I couldn't fault the construction or draw, which for a small format cheap cuban is a miracle! I would say it had a Bolivar (perhaps Partagas) profile, though unsure on the specific vitola!
Mine arrived and I had one straight away. Not very strong flavour wise. Started of with a unique note I can't describe. But that disappeared very quickly. After that it was a bit boring and got more bland as it continued. Will let the other one rest a couple of weeks and try again.
