Took it for a spin last night.not a clue what it could be.ill have a wild stab in the dark and say r&j number 2.
P.s the scotch is fantastic really really fruit and smooth

Have you tried any of the other batches? The 37 must be quite old....a botl this year sent me sample of batch 6 which was so much smoother than the batch 59 which I really enjoyed

no not tried any others, not a clue how old it is It was gifted to me about 10 years ago and i have been keeping it to one side. I felt it's time had come and i cracked it open. Really nice dram. I feel like buying the latest and leaving it another 10 years!!

So then chaps- here is the answer. Thanks again to all who participated. Seems to have been a bit of a mystery stick which punched a bit heavier than the normal Upmann profile. Glad it seems to have been well received.

i must say also, i usually smoke bigger rg cigars but i really enjoyed the size of this. i will be keeping tabs for the next cotm

Didn't get the opportunity to try this one...but did buy some aged one this year which were fantastic...cheers for hosting...will try the younger one too see how they compare.

Thanks for hosting Matt. I've had a few of these in the past, but didn't make the connection. As others have noted, it seemed stronger than other Upmann's.
