COTM for me tonight - started off with a little spice, wood, and grassy notes. Burn was great, and the construction solid. However, after the first third nearly all the flavour had gone, there was what I can only describe as a metallic taste, which sadly lasted for another third. Regretfully, I put it out after the second third.

I?m really intrigued to find out what this smoke was...!

Mine got me different flavours almost on every puff... It was at its best when I reached the middle. It has a grassy note which I associate with Punch and which I don't like. But this cigar had so many layers on top of it that I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another thing. It's a very mild cigar. Didn't get a hit off it at all.

I think a few people, including myself, went for Punch.

I haven't had a chance to try the second one yet. I'd be surprised if it is a Punch. A Punch Punch you think?

I don't remember having one before. I have one in the humidor. Hmmmmm.

Do you guys think that because that was a typical flavour for PP?

At the moment I do not have the foggiest. For me it didn’t taste like a punch, but that may be down to either my taste memory, or the variances within smokes. I will have to smoke the second one this week to see if it fairs better on my tongue

I was really looking forward to trying one of these this week but am suffering a very annoying cold that just won't quit, meaning haven't smoked for 9 days now with no end in sight.

Mag 46?! I had one of those really close to this cigar and it didn't even strike me.
I love a Mag 46 and this one just didn't tickle me....Unless it was a dud...I will smoke the second one this weekend; i would hate to think i didn't like an Upmann

The suspense is building on this one!
