Hi Folks, apologies for the late post but fue to my recent exotic travels I have only just been able to collect my SS parcel from my Bro-in-law's.
Well it is a magnificent gift, from a generous member but I have no idea which one. I don't regonise the writing & they say they don't usually trade so perhaps their first posted 'sample'. The thing that always surprises me about S.S, is how the sender has always managed to find at least one cigar I have never tried & at least one of my fav's that I'll be smoking at the first suitable opportunity.

The new cigars for me this time are the Hoyo San Jaun Dec 15 & the R&J Capuletos EL 2016, both big ring guages & probably why I hadn't bought either personally but the beauty of S.S. is that you get to try sticks you otherwise wouldn't.
The H.Upmann No2 Jul 16 is a piramide I haven't smoked for a couple of yrs so that will be nice to re-vist. The R&J PC Jul 16 will be sacrificed to the fishing gods in due course. The Boli BF Mar 17, is a stable of my rotation, a true classic from the Boli Marca. The NC is a marca I hadn't heard of before: Vamma Del Sol 2015 (DR?), I'll try this during Lent, when I smoke smoke mostky NC's & CC's.
But the unassuming star of the collection is the RA EL 2005. I had one of these shortly after release & another at my 55th B/day party earlier this year, which I gave a score in the high 90's. I didn't expect to smoke another, as they fetch serious/silly money on the auction sites. So I will be delighted to smoke this, perhaps on my next fishing holiday.
So many thanks to my S.S., I am delighted with his selection & can only hope the recipent of my parcel is as satisfied. Merry Christmas to all our members! P.S. Sham I have sent the photo to your email address, could you please post it, whenever you get time?
