Cigar of the month June 2017

Just smoked one of mine now - certainly never tried this marca before, and i was really struck by the saltiness for the first half, and the sour leathery taste throughout - not unpleasant at all, just something i've never really experienced before. The ash caught me out a few times on this smoke too, luckily i am not flammable

I will let the second stick rest a few months before i give it a try and see how it compares

I might have to take my last post back a bit. Having smoked the second one, it is definitely a cigar I could see myself buying. Despite the format being too slim for my taste, the flavours are great and really made me focus on the cigar. I'll get a few and see how they develop over age.

I almost forgot the reveal for June's COTM. For those who didn't find the little envelope with the details it was a La Gloria Cubana Medaille D'Or No 4 from March 2016. Hope you all enjoyed them.
