Take a screen shot to show the name assigned to the ticket/lot, I've seen online raffles done like this and it seems to work.

Final call.
I have received requests for both a straight raffle and for a raffle but to seperate certain high ticket items an allow direct bidding.
I will go with general consensus which is currently leaning towards a straight raffle.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14

Marc, I have a desktop cutter I will donate to the raffle also, I don't have any pictures to hand but I'll send some on Monday. I think it would be best as a straight raffle to add in my 2c. I'm sure there will be people who buy a few tickets, me being one of them!

I'll donate some ERDM Vikingos, I'll post photos up later
I think a mixture of the two would be best, maybe the lots that are likely to be popular as an auction and the other in the raffle, I'm sure there will be a couple that will raise more if they're auctioned

My worry about an auction is thus.
Items even high ticket ones are unlikely to attract bids higher than their value. Yet a single high ticket item could tie numerous bidders up. E.g I could afford to bid X ammount to try and win something I wanted but that would mean I couldbt afford to buy X amount of tickets. If this was the same for say 3-4 people who sacrifice buying tickets in favour of trying to get a bargain on a bif itembthat only one person can win, we have effectively sold something for less than its vaule and sold a hell of a lot less tickets than we could have done.
That wpukd be a great bargain for someone who get's a nice item..... But not so great at raising total funds in my mind.
Part of the fun of a raffle is surely that everyone has a crack at the big stuff and thus is willing to pay in to have a pop at the fun.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14
