Smoked this today, lovely and leathery with a pretty big nicotine hit. No idea what it is!

I had a couple of guesses too. Both wrong.

Funny you mention the Vitamin N Ed. I was only just thinking that I've not had a cigar that's made me hiccup for a few years and hey, COTM, presto, the last third brought them on. Hiccuping is my benchmark in terms of an N hit

Y'know, I've been thinking PP for a while but haven't mentioned it due to similar reasons. The finish on this month's stick was a nod in the PP direction for me. Good shout Joss, even if it's wrong

No way I've had half a box over the last five years, and would never have got it as that. Mind you, as you'll read in smoke of the day, it's taken since I had them to get the buggers to loosen up, so I've not had much to compare to. First two thirds were much more mild than mine today.

                          Nice one Oski

Tell what I've noticed and I don't know if anyone else has: there seems to a lot more claro/lighter wrappers on cigars that you wouldn't usually expect to see. I had a box of Partagas Presidentes the other month which looked frankly insipid. They went back on construction issues (30% were significantly under filled) but the wrapper was very pale.
