What do they stick the health labels on with? I soaked this tube in warm water for an hour and that only removed the paper layer. Had to use a generous application of Sticky Stuff remover to get the adhesive off. Now I have a nice shiny tube to pop an Epi 2 into if I go out in the summer.

I hate that glue sooo much. I clean a lot of wine, port and whisky bottles and some have this great glue which melts away with warm soapy water, others have the stuff you're talking about. It's a right pig. It always seems to be on the bottles that I want to keep for home brew/homemade spirits.Comment

Lads, it couldn't be easier to remove.... Make a paste out of olive oil and baking powder or bicarb of soda. Wipe it liberally over the sticky stuff, leave for 5 mins and then start rubbing it all Off pretty easily.
When in doubt.... turn to science!

How's it easier? what could be easier than mixing two things that you Will have in the cupboard anyway?
