So as far as NC recommendations go from the bomb, am I right in thinking I'm three for three?

Yes 3 for 3. Been very good. If you include the COTM which I also really enjoyed I reckon its been the year of the NC so far.

Revisited the La Aurora Principes Claro Toro to see how they were after enjoying the other NC and they were pretty dam good. Much better than I remember.
Now does that mean they have aged or does it mean my palette has changed slightly. I don't know for sure. Been on the pipe most days and reckon that altered my perception of taste. If that's a permanent thing or just while I was getting used to it only time will tell but certainly have a much more open view on NC in general.

Between Groundhog's bomb, January COTM and the ones I already had I would recommend another look at these by anyone who has previously written them off

Leccia white robusto, On its own I would say a good smoke and would buy again (lol) Poor man of this bunch so far but just because the others have been so good.

And interestingly, the Leccia is the most expensive of all of those...
Proving that costing more doesn't always mean better....
Although imho, I love them all, but for different reasons...

Thanks for letting me know that. I had been trying to think of a polite way of asking for a cost comparison.

My order for best so far is

1. Nicaraguan 90plus
2. short story
3. fuente
They were all of similar quality but defo that order

Possibly so.... That's the nice thing about bombs- you generally don't know, so take it as it smokes..

Got to get ready for work but will try and track own my post about last months COTM. Thought rule was Cubans only so perceived it to be one. Think I actually said my first few draws tasted non-Cuban but it couldn't be one as it was too good
