So to celebrate my recent 3,000th post, I am going to have a very 'un-Simon Bolivar' quiz. 'Un-Simon Boliar,' in that it's the simplest quiz ever & no cigar or Havana knowledge is required to win! All you need is a lucky punt & you could be the winner of the fine selection of smokes shown below, from the depths of the Boli Cave.
Mr Lovegood recently started a thread about Humidor management & keeping records. It appears some do & some don't, some do occasionally for notable smokes & others of us record every damn one! Which is how I can come up with the answer of this quiz. The question is, how many the different Havana vitolas have I smoked since starting my records back at the start of the millenimum? I have not counted Custom Cubans or NC's. I have counted Tubos versions separately eg R&J Churchill. I enter distinctly different cigars of the same vitola separately eg modern ERDM DT & the 1990 version but have combined them for this comp.
Clues: It took me 8yrs to reach 118 by 03/08, a large proportion of those would have been after 2006 when I joined the old Club Havana & started getting swaps & S.S.'s ect. It was fairly easy then as nearly every cigar was a new vitola.
Secondly, although it gets harder to find new vitolas, I have been working harder at finding them
Good luck & it would be nice to see all the new members in particular having a go, you'll not likely find an easier comp than this & it's a good bet you won't have tried at least a couple of these smokes.
