The essential rule is for the host not to end up out of pocket so if he buys a box of 25 he has to do the same as me or get 24 players or accept the leftovers and cost. Like I said, its all down to the host.
Yeah I know I wasn't trying to pressure anyone.

This month's foil-bubble wrap-jiffy bag combo worked beautifully too.

So I've just spent a lovely hour or so with this months COTM (thanks Edamski!) and a bottle of Double Stout as the day calls for.

First off a nice looking stick. Great smell of sweet tobacco from the darkish wrapper. Medium to firm to the squeeze.

I lit it up with the cap in place which has become my prefered method, so I didn't get any pre light draw flavour which is the only down side.

First couple of draws were a joy. Sweet tobacco, nice draw, nice amount of smoke. First third produced bitter coffee notes which were quite pleasant. This then slowly mixed with fairly strong leather flavour into the second. The leather and coffee seemed to remain throughout allthough not simultaneously. The flavours interchanged from draw to draw. Both flavours paired very well with the stout and I must say it has been a quite enjoyable smoke. Something which I would definitely have again.

I've gone all the way with this and still going well!

The ash to me has been typically Cuban and the flavours do ring simillar with other darker Cubans I've enjoyed. I am tempted to say Cohiba Maduro... I've vowed to myself not to cheat so I've not peaked in the little brown envelope yet so I could be a little red faced when I do take a look as this is a first 'blind' taste for me!

What's the protocol? Do I open and take a look or do I wait until the reveal?...

I usually look after smoking then wait for someone else to reveal...looks a nice stick will try and grab an hour either this weekend of next week as I'm away again.
Also the packaging was really good this month arrived perfectly.

Cut this and think I've guessed it from the pre-light draw.

I won't say what I think it is other than it's a favourite of mine and one that I recently discussed with Tommy, good choice [emoji106]

Smokes this last night in the fog. Absolutely lovely oak flavours were the main note I got initially, warmed into a little pepper as it went on. I'm too tired to give much more detail but this was pretty great, would buy a box.

Well Friday came and went (sorry I was very busy at home)

Most of you guessed it correctly anyway!

                                Was indeed a Maduro 5 Secretos [emoji4]

I thought whilst the days where shortening and the Mercury was dropping Id go for something small but special.

Glad you all seemed to enjoy it [emoji4]
