    • This was an incredibly enjoyable smoke. Slightly rough wrapper but beautifully constructed beneath.

Pre-light was a little leathery. Easy light and straight burn. Medium strength built very quickly with a lovely leathery, earthy taste.

After the first inch or so the earth faded out and the leather built. There were odd hints of sweetness but they never really evolved into something I could put my finger on for this bit.

First ash dropped at 2 inches. The flavours didn't really change any more hear, settling to a soft leather backed with just the right amount of bitterness.

I just about nabbed this one. It was never in any danger of going out. Lasted about an hour and a half for me. Did get a bit hit at the end but I managed to carry it on until it started nipping at my fingers.

I really liked this. If the other is like this I could see myself tracking down more for those days where I have time for a long smoke but just want to relax with something nice and not too complex.

What is it? I don't know, I agree it tastes nc but that's all I can say.

      • Another good review, did you dip the cigar or your fingers in the treacle?

I forgot I'd captured my 'ashtray' in the shot. Not as fancy as some I've seen here, I'll admit, but does the job.

And when it gets too rusty I'll swap it for the golden syrup can in the cupboard or the treacle from the next batch of stout. Never let it be said I don't recycle.

Marc would have made a rest for his cigar on the lip of the tin, probably from narwhal tusk or something exotic

Aw crap I'm all out. Should've picked some up from Aldi earlier. The cigars balance nicely on the rim of the tin, though, and you can use the lid to catch any ash that drops while it overhangs. Plus I've always loved those treacle tins.

I don't think that would work, they probably aren't calcified enough to carve. And its probably wrong to murder babies for cigar holders, I guess.

No you murder them for their pelts, then recycle the bones so they don't go to waste.

I was thinking I would cut a coke can up and solder it to the lip. Narwhal sounds better though, love making the most of my kills.
Had a turbo exciting day paragliding the alps so still not smoked the blindy but home Saturday late so will avoid the forum until Monday lunch when I should have tried this cigar.

I really wouldn't be surprised if you guys in the south had an extra bin collection just for parts of endangered animals. I can see it now:

                              Week 1: General waste
                              Week 2: Garden waste
                              Week 3: Glass, paper, tins
                              Week 4: Endangered animal parts

and for those months where there's a 5th collection

                              Week 5: Human souls
