Good review mate I smelt it and thought it was a diesel unholy cocktail. Will see what I think when I smoke it.

that ash is very signifiable that it's an NC.
either that or an aged Cuban short filler. But what're the chances of that?

Thanks guys!
Mo, I almost convinced myself that it was a custom roll based on the unholy cocktail.... I suppose it could be, with a different wrapper.
It's certainly at that kind of strength level, which is too much for me... Though it's not as sweet as the Diesel and has got a bit more going on.... Layers of flavour.
Whatever it is, it's a good cigar! If it had been a Petit Belicoso and perhaps 75% the strength I would have been buying a box.
As it stands, I'm tempted to see what they go for when it's revealed. The 2nd one will be getting rest for 12 months to see if it tames the beast somewhat... If it does then it may be getting bought anyway.
All in all, a fantastic first mystery cigar by PeeJay..... I'm absolutely convinced that there's going to be some love for this cigar.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14

Cigar of the Month club.
Hi guys. Enjoying this cigar now.
As said before, the wrapper is very smooth. Although there is one mother of a vein through mine. I wouldn't say it's particularly oily.
Although the strong leather isn't too my taste there's some smooth earthy tones, almost a light subtle coffee flavour.
The ash doesn't hold very well but I expected as much when inspecting the foot. There's also a loose draw for a Piramides.
It's 100% NC. I'd guess Dominican?
When do we open the envelope? I'm dying to know what it is.
Edit:

Well folks just finished mine and here are my thoughts.
pre-light
has a strong smell of hay, coffee and tobacco, reminded me of a diesel unholy cocktail.
the wrapper is smooth and no veins.
clipped it
pre-light draw is easy with a taste of hay and a hint of coffee.
toasted and ignited.
good amount of smoke, taste of hay tobacco and coffee. This lasted all the way through no changes or surprises. I would say it was medium bodied.
this is a NC for sure I would say nicaraguan.
Thanks PJ
