If thats makes them not worth too much you might as well stick Por Larra?aga in the same bracket as they have a short filler panatela in there range as well
i also never knew Habanos even dealt with short filler in their cigars...that's kinda strange really..... guess they can due to the small ring gauges, eh?
serves me right.Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

06 was when they were still machine made, so i know about jlp stories.
i've never actually had a quintero and i've only seen one in real life last month when i visited cuba. the favouritos you were talking about, yupp. and i'm surprised they're short filler. i guess cuba can relaly make them that good eh?? how are they (young or aged)Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

I find the favouritos a really nice smoke for the price point (they are not epi 2/ juan lopez 2) price so as long as you go in with that in mind they are a nice smoke. I am quite partial to the quintero panatelas and these really do age quite well and I have a few boxes for long term (rude not at the price)but the one I opened at 4 year old really went down a treat.

Just rechecked. My mistake. They're regular cazadores. And boy are they falling apart! aye: handmade, short filler, came in cellophane bundle until 07 until their discontinuation, and were machine made until '02.
That's strange though. Maybe it's when demand dropped after the cigar boom so Cuba could spend the man power?
And you're right about the ageing potential of cheap sticks. But I'm the exact opposite. Got a philosophy that cigars cost money. But so does humidor space :O

And I wonder how long itd be good for..... may just last a few months before they're all bombed away to friends who don't smoke as much.
Better red pill than a Guantanamera, eh?
