Thanks Bubba, can confirm receipt of your monies. So gentlemen, we have raised ?310, a decent sum indeed. Many thanks to the generousity of those who took part. I was hoping to sell a few more tickets but thats not due to any lack of those who took part but I think to the fairly small number of active regulars we have at present, seems to be the same 20-30 daily posters. Others dip in & comment occasionally but I see we have plently of non-members lurking. What does it take to convert these to active members is a question for us all, if we wish the club to continue & thrive. I say this as someone who came here from another excellent club that withered on the vine.

Anyway, I am just trying to get my wife's attention & she will do the draw & I will post the winner directly. Please PM/email me your home addy asap as I have to ge the parcel wrapped up & addressed tonight; catching the Red Eye Eurostar tomorrow.
