Its just a precaution, nothing against you mate. If your partner is happy to go ahead normally then that's fine too. I was personally screwed over by a 'new ish' member so I'd rather be safe than sorry. As I said, nothing personal
sorry but this member has the required number off post, has been on nearly six months meets the stick a stick rules as far as i can see and has been a member nearly as long as you,i do not see why he should be treated differently.

Well we've had a few problems with people before who have been relatively active for a few months and have decided to mess people about by not sending anything and then leaving the forum. I would rather be a bit cautious and not get slated as an 'organiser' for allowing something of that nature to happen again. Andy said he was fine with it, and I also said that his partner may be ok with procedding normally (which they most likely will be) so there is no issue in my opinion but maybe my view is bias as organiser?

James your are the organiser and well done for doing it btw ,but i do not see the point of putting up rules and than treating a member who meets them differently and lets be honest we have had problems with old as well as new members, untill a member (who meets the requirements) has f.....d up than give them the benifit of doubt

I suppose you're right Pete, I just worked it as being a member for 5 months so wanted to allow Andy to join in but be a bit careful, guess I'm just being too careful. We shall see how it all works out. Also, I would like to appologise to Andy and the rest of the forum for having this discussion publicly

Hi Guys thanks for the comments, I can understand James being cautious and wanting to do the right thing.

All I would say is that I am a stand up sort of guy and anyone who has had dealings with me would agree. Barring me dropping down dead I dont think there should be any issues, but I am willing to accept James's suggestions.

I would like this to be a success as much as the next person and will certainly not be causing any issues.

I've got a great cigar collection - it's actually not a collection, because that would imply I wasn't going to smoke every last one of 'em.

Only away for a few days, life's been crazy busy at the moment, what with trying to dodge crazy sociopathic ex-girlfriends, Crazed Saudi people with warrants for my arrest lol and rather odd woman with a dog fetish, time has shall we say, been a little limited

Forgot to ask. Is there a stick minimum (got to get rid of these dog rockets somehow )?
