  • Burlington coronas?

Brain storming time chaps..rooting around in the depths i've come across 2 Burlington Coronas which were bought during the last worldwide conflict!

Has anyone any information on these? I know the were cigars made in England from Cuban tobacco & the company has links with Bond St. I seem to remember being told they were 'something' to do with Fox's.

Any info greatly appreciated..I've got to smoke one just for the crack, 70 years wasted space in the humi otherwise..

70 years in the depths, it must be bloody deep!

Sorry I have nothing constructive to say as usual.....

That is a pic of an advert for them from a German seller on ebid ( interesting that sn ad for a uk conflict smoke made it to those who the conflict was with)

Looking for Monte Sublimes if you have any?

Brilliant. Glad to see the dashing chap in the advert is Senior Service... Well, one presumes he's dashing, he is a cigar smoking officer of the Royal Navy after all...

Interesting find Puff - any chance of a pic? Been enjoying your other photographic efforts recently.

I swear that almost everyone on these fora have served in the RN; the ranks are completed by a couple of ex-Army, a smattering of IT guys and a nut roaster. What an assortment we are.

PS. Really like the box that those cigars were packaged in - there's just something eminently classy about it.

                        PPS.
