  • Willing to listen and learn

Hello everyone, I was introduced to the joys of cigars about a month during a poker game. They were only cheap churchills I believe but they were bloody big buggers. Another friend of mine has been smoking for 6 years now and said you need to try a Cuban, I couldn't believe how nice they were. I now want to buy some but I defiantly can't afford cubans, I'm not sure where the best place to buy from is. Any tips would be welcome.

            Hello Dean!

The thing is, with this hobby we all partake in, there is and will always be an expense that is tied into it, however the same can be said of the majority of hobbies! The great thing about ours however, is there is a way to enjoy, learn and partake, on almost any budget. For most of us we would all love to fill up our walk in humidor extension of the side of of house, with a box of everything Cuba has to offer, unfortunately, for most of us, we just settle for what we can comfortably afford (some of us however spend what we cant afford, go to great lengths to hide it from the misses, and divulge only to the rest of our brothers haha) Stick around for a while, learn as you go, enjoy yourself and youll find a way to fit this hobby into your budget.

Distantly related to Frank unfortunately, I'm a spurs fan. I've found a site where I can get a pack of 20 nicaraguan cigars shipped for about 30 all in so may try these first. They are about 5 in and ring gauge of 43. The ones I have at the moment are 7 in and 50, but I find them a bit tasteless now I've had a Cuban.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

You've broken rule number one...no discussion regarding import tax evasion or customs. Thanks.
