Funny you should say this... I've had myself on the list for an allotment in Plymouth for nearly two years now... Aside from growing a bit of veg and generally having a bit of outdoor space (downside of living in a flat), I was looking forward to sitting outside a shed with a mate and a couple of cigars, just looking at the tomatos and runner beans... Sounds like bliss.

Damn I wish I had a nice big garden, would be sweet to have one of these.

I'm in the advanced planning stages for mine and have all the cladding and doors stacked in the garden. The framing timber is right around the corner at the timber merchants if I could just find the time to put it all together. If you are handy (having a shed full of tools is a big plus) then you can probably make a custom unit for less than you can buy off the shelf and have exactly what you want.

I currently have an old 6x8 overlap shed that I use in winter, rain & windy conditions. It has electric run to it so I use a small 1000/2000W heater in there and it's toasty in 10 minutes with no added insulation. Comfortable but it's really no frills.

This is a good site for motivation http://www.readersheds.co.uk/ The 'Pub Sheds' section offers some good dreaming material.

I've been toying with this idea as well. I have a shed full of tools and in need of a little repair but plan on buying a new one, put a small workbench and vice in it to do odd jobs and perhaps build cigar box guitars etc..
Also as you suggested to smoke cigars in. I am wondering if I should add a little isolation in it to winter proof it a bit.
