    Buying cigars in London?

    Good evening all

    Apologies if there's already a few threads discussing this but where do you buy your cigars in South west London from?

    After some mid sized Partagas or Montecristo or Romeo y Julieta.

    I see there's a place in Fulham, http://www.cigarsunlimited.co.uk, but they're not that cheap. Similar prices to a place in Chiswick called Shears.

    Best to go to one of the supermarkets like Waitrose?

    Their prices seem very reasonable to me. Not sure if there is any kind of mark-up in the store, but online is right up there in terms of value.

    As a non-Londoner, however, I'm unable to be of assistance beyond the St James concentration (plus Ajay's Aladdin's cave in Teddington).

          hmmm...we are in West Hampstead- that's London, Kilburn- that's London and Mayfair from the end of August.

          Massive range and guaranteed best prices in the UK,what more could you want? :-)

              Beat me to it monkey! That Mayfair comment has certainly piqued my interest. Will it be a shop with sampling facilities?

              If so, that would complete a great summer day of trekking around London for fine cigars. Managed two in Sautter's and one in JJ Fox today; plans are afoot for a Sautter's > Dunhill Bourdon House > Davidoff > JJ Fox on a nice weather day at some point. If we could squeeze in a smokeymo shop in with Sautter's and Dunhill it would make for a truly epic day of herfing.
