  • Bath & West Show

Went for a day out today with the boss. Parked up and entered the show ground. I was busy calling a mate who was camping to put the kettle on for a brew. And to my amazement the wife says "there's a cigar shop there".
So after a quick call I went over for a chat. The guest roller wasn't there but would be rolling from 1030 ish.
So we went for a coffee and came back. I sat in amazement at hw fast he rolled the cigar. As soon as it was finished it was placed in a tube for me and in my hands within 2 mins. Not sure wether the cost was good or not but it was 15 pounds. But for an extra fiver you got to choose another Cuban from the display humi. Rude not to really.

But the best bit. Whilst I was watching my cigar being rolled my wife was looking at all the cabinets trying to choose a cigar for to make up for me still not finding a job. To cheer me up. But in the end I didn't get a cigar. She purchased me a new humi. A nice pyramid shaped 75ct.. All I can say is my wife rocks!!! Now being new to this haggling game she managed to pay about 1/3 of the online web price!!!!Totally unexpected. We then left while the vendor wrapped it up for me. When we came back to collect it. We had a chat with the boss and a bit of a joke. I then made an off hand comment that hopefully the humi was fully stocked. And within 2 mins he came back with another hand rolled cigar to start my collection off. And best of all it was gratis.

Not sure if I can mention the company? But I will certainly be ordering from them again

Fire up that fresh rolled Mark. They are only good for a couple of weeks before they go 'sick' and then you need to wait at least a year before they come round again.

Just found the card. Business called Cigar-club. I've not heard of them before but the 2 blokes there were very chatty and offered advice to anyone who asked. The even had 2 sorts of flavoured cigars. Whiskey and port. Now I'm a big port fan but didn't want to try a port flavoured cigar.

SWMBO also went to the Bath & West 2 years ago and they were there. Very helpful guys and she bought me 2 pyramides from the roller plus a couple of other things. Still have them in the humi but I'll take em back home to Cuba in October for ceremonial destruction.
