  • An unwanted hitch hiker

Last night I opened a monte petit edmundo and found an unwanted visitor on his back....a tobacco beetle on my cigar! Threw him off straight away but now have a cigar with a big hole!

Can't bring myself to smoke it! Into the bin!

OMFG - still probably a blessing it was in a tubo. Do you know were the stick came from.

Yeah I do, but I'm not going to name them publicly. I will send them a message, but I suspect it's all very normal.

I read somewhere that some people prize the smokes with the larvea in.

Do you think it hatched due to a humidity or temp. increase in your humidor?

Because I believe all cigars due have the capability of having one of these given the right temp. and humidity!!

Wasn't stored in the humi, just in it's packet. It may have been there since the purchase. Yuckkkk.

What year was the stick? I thought that the modern ones were all treated etc?
